This was last year, we to spend a few days with our granny during Summer. It was only the three of us, my granny can't ear very well and almost never goes upstairs, she sleeps and does most of her life in the ground floor of her house. My brother has his bedroom in the attic and when we want to be alone I sneak upstairs to his bedroom during the night. We don't bother much about the noise because when our granny goes to sleep she takes off her hearing device.
